Captive Prince is a book series by C. S. Pacat consisting of the books Captive Prince, Prince's Gambit, and Kings Rising. The series debuted as a free online serial on May 23rd, 2008[2] on LiveJournal, where it continued for four years before being picked up for publication by Penguin Berkley.[3] The free version of Captive Prince came down on October 1st, 2013.[4]
A fourth book, The Summer Palace and Other Stories: A Captive Prince Short Story Collection, containing four short stories in the same universe with further information about various characters, was released in October, 2018. [5]
The four short series contain Green but for a Season, The Summer Palace, The Adventures of Charls, the Veretian Cloth Merchant, and Pet.
